Delicious and authentic Japanese Ramen need not to be so expensive. I know that most ramen restaurants here in the Philippines offer so delicious and very savory ramen but at a high cost.

Ramen Kuroda is one of the ramen houses that offers affordable authentic ramen experience for just ₱180 per serving. They are proud to serve home-made noodles and umami soup.

Like this beauty here, Murakami Kani Salad that cost only ₱110. It taste good, refreshing because of the cucumber, and the ingredients are fresh.

Eduardo's Peri-peri Flame-grilled Chicken

I had heard about Peri-peri Chicken in the metro for a while now; however this is just my first time to try it. There are considerable number Peri peri chicken restaurants in Metro Manila, most of it are in Quezon City, but you can also find it in San Juan City, Mandaluyong City, Pasig City, and ParaƱaque City. What is a Peri-peri chicken? Based on what I researched, Piri piri or Peri peri is a type of chili which can be found in Africa and South American countries. The dish itself was said to originate in both Africa and Portugal, it's a very spicy dish, and chicken is marinated for many hours and then grilled.

Grilled Pork Tenders of Jollibee

Grilled Pork Tenders

Grilled Pork Tenders, an addition to Jollibee's fast-growing menu. As the name says, it is authentically grilled and tender, it's served with a cup of steaming rice and soy sauce with Calamansi. It's good because it's tasty, you don't need to chew it hardly because of it's tenderness and the meat serving is plenty, actually for a rice lover you can grab for an extra rice! It's very sweet though, it's almost perfect with less the sweetness. Taste it for just 65.00php for a Solo order or 81.00php with a Regular Soft-drink.

Pugon-Roasted Asado

Pugon-Roasted Asado

Pugon-Roasted Asado Pork is the House Specialty of Panciteria Lido. It's an old secret recipe from an ancient Chinese pork roast. I bought this take out pack at 267.00php or $6.35, the staff informed me that it is a 16-slices pork about 1/4 kilograms in weight. I'm very excited that my family will have to taste it because I already had this before but dine-in, and I still remember it's nice taste back then. When I opened the box I was surprised that it was not arranged in a good way and it's not served hot, I was a bit disappointed. And when I tasted it... It's not the Pugon-Roasted Asado that I've tasted before, it's not delicious and no hint of great-tasting food. I was embarrassed in front of my family because the food that I was eager to have them tasted is not worth at all. But I will still eat Pugon-Roasted Asado of Panciteria Lido for dine-in only.

Chic-Boy - Inasal, Cebu Lechon Liempo and Manok

Chic-Boy

I've been hearing about Cebu Lechon lately, I'm very curious how great it taste. So when I got a chance to taste it from one of the fastest growing grill restaurant chain in the Philippines, I tried it! Cebu Lechon Liempo from Chic-Boy Restaurant, Rice-All-You-Can for the price of 99.00php and you can add a bottomless Iced Tea for 25.00php. The Liempo serving is quite a lot, ooops sorry I think I didn't capture it all :) If you have a big appetite you can full enjoy this rice all you can treat and you can finish 4-5 cups of rice with this Liempo serving, but I only had one cup of rice! The Cebu Lechon Liempo is tasty, not that tender though and taste like ordinary Liempo that you can have in other restaurants. It's an ordinary Liempo for me, it doesn't have the distinct taste that I've been looking for that you can't find in ordinary Liempo. But it's still good, in fact I leave my plate with nothing :) And the price is worth the pay!

Fish & Co.

Fish & Chips

Fish & Chips, Fish & Co.'s signature dish! I've been wanting to try this, and there I was sitting at the Fish & Co. Restaurant at Trinoma Mall. :)

After we had a movie, we decided to take our late lunch at Fish & Co. located at the fourth floor of Trinoma. The interior of the place is gorgeous, lots of fish decors hanging on the walls, they a have semi open kitchen, totally a cool place to stay.
