Delicious and authentic Japanese Ramen need not to be so expensive. I know that most ramen restaurants here in the Philippines offer so delicious and very savory ramen but at a high cost.

Ramen Kuroda is one of the ramen houses that offers affordable authentic ramen experience for just ₱180 per serving. They are proud to serve home-made noodles and umami soup.

Masuki Mami House in Binondo

Masuki's Chicken Mami is consists of their homemade noodles topped white chicken meat slices, in chicken broth, and served with their special sauce and spring onions. This Chicken Mami costs 140. The taste is quite bland for me, not that flavorful and savory unless you add in their special sauce and spring onions. The special sauce is a bit sweet, salty, quite thick, and savory, it is perfect for all of their mami or noodle soup dishes as well as for their siopao.

Snack Time at Red Ribbon

One day after a tiring window shopping at the mall, my boyfriend and I searched for the best merienda or snack that we can eat. Pizza, Burgers and Spaghetti and other Pasta are our usual meal and I want something light and sweet for our snack time. Red Ribbon was our choice! Both of us ordered for Pancit Palabok and a slice of Dulce de Leche Cake for me. Red Ribbon's Pancit Palabok is outrageously delicious, it never disappoints me every time I eat it! Their Pancit Palabok uses bihon or bijon noodles which I like compared with the thick palabok noodles, the texture of the sauce is just right, it has many toppings like chicharon, chicken pieces, shrimps, hard-boiled eggs sprinkled with onion leaves, and served with calamansi. Yum yum yum!!! It's very delicious, flavorful, all ingredients compliments with one another and it's worth your money!

Chami Special Pancit by Pancietria Lido

Before I got home yesterday I bought a dish that I can take home and enjoy with my family. First thing that comes on my mind is Pancit! Where to buy good and delish Pancit at SM Fairview, of course Panciteria Lido. Their House Specialty is Chami Special, it's a bit similar with Pancit Lomi except it's not soup-based and Chami is more on the sweet side.

Panciteria Lido Chami Special is delicious, it has small pieces of pork meat, shrimps, squid, celery, carrots, cabbage, garlic, onions and other seasonings. It's an Authentic Chinese Cuisine! I love the combination of sweet and traditional taste of pancit.
