As I have mentioned before, I'm into cooking easy Korean dishes nowadays. Here's my first ever cooking video on my YouTube Chanel... How to cook Easy and Simple Korean-style Curry Rice.
For those who doesn't understand my step by step video above (because it's in Filipino), here's the English "written" version.
Ingredients:
250 grams Pork Shoulder or Tenderloin (preferred), cubed and seasoned with a pinch of salt
2 medium size Potatoes, cubed
1 medium size Carrot, cubed
1-2 White Onions, cubed
50 grams Ottogi Curry Powder
3 cups Water
2-3 tbsp Butter or Margarine
Salt to taste
Procedure:
1. In a medium to low heat fire, melt the butter in a pot.
2. Add the meat and stir-fry until its golden brown.
3. Add the potatoes and stir-fry for a couple of minutes, then add onions and carrots. Let it stir-fry for another minute or two.
4. Next is add 2 cups of water and let it boil for 5 or more minutes or until the veggies are cooked.
5. In a bowl, dissolve the curry powder in 1 cup of water.
6. Add the curry mixture in the boiling pot of pork and veggies. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes and make sure to stir it often because it tends to become thick and bottom might burn.
7. Turn off the heat and served the Korean-style Curry over a bed of steamy rice.
It's just that easy? I think any adult can do it. Enjoy cooking!
