Wings and Wedges Restaurant

Wings and Wedges is a small yet cozy restaurant located at SM City Fairview. Obviously they specializes in chicken wings and potato wedges, however, they also serve salads, burgers, pizza, pasta and more. My husband and I dine here after our stroll at the mall. It's my second time to dine at Wings & Wedges while, it's a first time for my husband.

Eduardo's Peri-peri Flame-grilled Chicken

I had heard about Peri-peri Chicken in the metro for a while now; however this is just my first time to try it. There are considerable number Peri peri chicken restaurants in Metro Manila, most of it are in Quezon City, but you can also find it in San Juan City, Mandaluyong City, Pasig City, and Parañaque City. What is a Peri-peri chicken? Based on what I researched, Piri piri or Peri peri is a type of chili which can be found in Africa and South American countries. The dish itself was said to originate in both Africa and Portugal, it's a very spicy dish, and chicken is marinated for many hours and then grilled.

SM Fairview Upcoming Stores

Fantastic stores are coming to SM City Fairview. Watch out for J.Co Donuts & Coffee, Ristorante Bigoli, House of Obagi, and Crocs. Newly opened stores are Adobo Connection, Moon Cafe and City Buffet.

Lovely Dinner at Italianni's Restaurant

What a beautiful and appetizing pasta from Italianni's! Spaghetti Vongole is their new pasta dish, sautéed tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and white wine with overflowing fresh clams. A regular order costs 495.00php or $11.

Sbarro Pasta Invasion

Sbarro's newest pasta offering... Pasta Carbonara with your choice of Penne or Spaghetti noodles. It has green peas, bacon bits, ham slices, mushrooms in a heavy cream sauce. It's not just saucy, it's thick! Penne, which is my favorite type of noodle, is cooked Al dente! A regular serving of Penne Carbonara costs ₱96.00 or $2.29 and served with Sbarro's yummy Garlic Bread. For all Sbarro's Baked Ziti fanatic out there, you should also try their new pasta dish. Penne Carbonara is genuinely rich, yes it may ruin your perfect diet but you won't regret its delicious taste.

Pasta and Tuscani Pizza at Pizza Hut

My boyfriend, Adelbert and I had some nice time together earlier. After we went to our dentist, we go straight to the mall to window shop and have some snack (slash) dinner :) We both want pasta and pizza, so we decided to try Pizza Hut's New Tuscani Pizza!

Shakey's Monster Spaghetti Meatballs

Shakey's Monster Spaghetti Meatballs, premium pasta with chunky tomato and meat sauce a top with giant as in big :) meatballs and served with garlic bread. I had this for my dinner tonight and it was paired with Cheese and Garlic Pizza. My tummy is so full, burp..! Honestly I didn't finish my meal, it was a lot! The spaghetti is full with Italian spices, real and chunky tomatoes, the pasta noodle is not that firm, the meatball is made from beef, very tasty, tender and holds a lot of flavors. This Monster Spaghetti Meatballs costs 161.00php or $3.83, you can add another one or two meatballs for a different price.

Five Cows' Creamy Carbonara

White sauce based pastas are not really my favorite, but I appreciate it. I dine alone at Five Cows Resto and Ice Cream Bar at Trinoma Mall one Saturday evening after attending a blogger event at SM North. Creamy and classic Carbonara Pasta I must say! A bed of spaghetti pasta (not so firm but not that soggy) mixed with creamy carbonara sauce with lots of mushrooms, bacon, and ham slices; topped with parsley and overflowing mozzarella cheese; and served with two wheat bread slices.
