Murakami Japanese Restaurant

Who doesn't love ramen, sushi, katsu and other Japanese food? Probably because of the ramen craze that hit the Philippines one or two years ago that made Pinoys love Japanese cuisine more than ever. Let's admit that Japanese food is one of the expensive foods here in the country. But, you don't need to throw away your money just to try authentic Japanese food. Murakami Japanese Restaurant offers affordable and delicious ramen, sushi, sashimi, and more! Like this beauty here, Murakami Kani Salad that cost only ₱110. It taste good, refreshing because of the cucumber, and the ingredients are fresh.

We've heard of Murakami Japanese Restaurant in Pop Talk, a TV show that reviews restaurants, places, gadgets and more. When we had an opportunity, we made sure that we get to try Murakami. It's not a short or either long drive from Fairview/Novaliches going to Marikina City, we went there purposely. This one here is their Jumbo Gyoza which is ₱105, it taste fair enough, I'm not a big fan of gyoza.

The restaurant is a bit small, I think it only has 5-7 tables. And has a parking space for two or more, this is a necessity for diners if the restaurants are not located inside a mall. My favorite food in Murakami is California Roll that costs ₱130. It's a must try, it's really delicious, fresh, has lots of fish roe, and rolled perfectly.

Now we go to their Ramen choices, they are proud that their ramen is authentic Tonkotsu which is made from pork bones, boiled more than 15 hours, breaking down the collagen, marrow and fat, unleashing a creamy whitish liquid. This Shoyu Ramen costs ₱130 for a snack size, shoyu means soy sauce.

What we have here is Murakami Miso Ramen snack size which i₱130. The snack size is good for one person while the regular size that costs ₱180 is good for two.

This Rich Tonkotsu Ramen is so savory, very rich indeed in terms of flavor!!! The snack size cost ₱200 while the regular is ₱280. Murakami's ramen is also a thumbs up, it's not the fast-food kinda ramen, rich in ingredients, and so delicious!!!

Murakami Japanese Restaurant has an ample selection of Bento Box meals. Their bento box contains the main protein, fried rice, side veggies, and a regular red iced tea. This is their Pork Katsu Bento Box that costs ₱180.

Shrimp & Veggie Tempura Bento Box cost ₱200.

Cordon Bleu Bento Box costs ₱165.

Here is Murakami's menu or food selection. As you can see their prices is affordable compared to other Japanese restaurants here in Metro Manila.

Our dining experience in Murakami Restaurant is awesome! In terms of food presentation, taste, serving size and price, you won't be disappointed. The place though is a bit small and hot, while the staff is just okay, not that courteous or anything rude. My family and I were definitely going back to this place to enjoy affordable and yummy Japanese food!!!
