Bánh Mì or Banh Mi (pronounced as ban-mi) means bread, Bánh refers to food including bread and Mì refers to wheat, but it is known to be Vietnamese baguette. Vietnam was colonized by France during the mid-19th century, which is when they introduced baguette and became a staple food.

Now, Bánh Mì or Banh Mi is a popular food that refers to Vietnamese baguette sandwich typically filled with meats, pate, cucumber, coriander or cilantro, pickled carrots and radish, and sauces. 

KFC Double Down, The Zinger Way

Double Down Sandwich is a very unique and smart product of KFC. I remembered just this year 2011 that they launched this wonderful product in the Philippines, the Original Double Down Sandwich. Now they have a new twist of this bunless sandwich, KFC Zinger Double Down Sandwich, same thing with the Original but it's spicy hot and very crunchy. The Zinger Double Down Meal with a regular drink costs ₱150.00.

Simple Cheese Sandwich

My youngest sister and I had an instant noodle soup earlier for our snack time. The weather is very cold, rain never stops the whole day, so it's nice to take a sip of a hot dish. However that doesn't fully satisfy my tummy so I grab a piece of original Gardenia White Bread, spread it with Kraft Cheez Whiz and sprinkled with McCormick Italian Seasoning. A simple cheese sandwich with a bit of Italian twist. McCormick Italian Seasoning consists of Marjoram, Thyme, Rosemary, Sage and other spices. Try this :D

Hero Hungarian Combo Meal

Shakey's New Hero Hungarian Combo Meal, composed of 7 inches long Hungarian sausage sandwich, Shakey's Mojos and a regular Iced Tea. My mother went home yesterday with this meal, she saw it in an ad on the newspaper and bought it as a pasalubong for my younger sister. You can sink in your teeth on this meal at a price of 129.00php or $3.07, my mom has a Shakey's SuperCard that gives 10% discount for Dine-In and Carry Out orders, but unfortunately this meal isn't covered, because I think this product is in introductory/discounted price.
