It has been a couple of years ago since this potato snack started to make a buzz on the food industry. After the maniac craze for Salted Egg Chips or Salted Egg Potato Chips, it was replaced by Honey Butter Chips!
The Honey-Butter craze started in South Korea where it was manufactured by two companies, Korea's Haitai and Japan's Calbee last 2014. Even if it's been in the market for a long time, I just discovered it days ago. And I'm happy to know and relish it!

Honey Butter Potato Chips ingredients were potatoes, vegetable oil, seasoning, iodized salt, milk solids, soy sauce powder, sweetener, sugar, skimmed milk powder, parsley flakes, and other scientific terms.
My say is that, honey and butter is an ultimate combination! Mostly this pairing is used on pancakes, breads, cakes and other pastries. Adding it to crispy potato snack is genius!
Just with my first crunch on this snack, I was impressed, it's so delicious! By that time, I didn't know that it was a craze that started years ago, it's just now that I knew of it. And it's just right to be a craze!
It's salty sweet in a mild way that you can't resist, hindi nakaka-umay o hindi nakaka-sawa. The balance of sweetness from the honey and saltiness from the butter is truly awesome. And the potatoes itself is so good, light, and crispy. A new and yummy way to enjoy a potato snack!
