Sunday Lakwatsa pt. 1 - Dine @ Kamay Kainan

Yesterday, Sunday lunch time I fetch my younger sister from her UPCAT review at Commonwealth Ave. We decided to go to Trinoma Mall to have our lunch and make a payment for the Harry Potter movie tickets which I reserved online.

We had lunch at Kamay Kainan, first level of Trinoma Mall. It's jam packed with customers, mostly group of families were gathered and restaurant's staff were very busy serving and helping guests. The surrounding is very noisy, guests laughing and chitchatting all the way, you can also hear the staff talking and even shouting a little to one another and utensils, plates and glasses are click clanking.

Kamay Kainan Eat All You CanKamay Kainan Eat All You Can

For 250.00php you can enjoy their eat-all-you-can including desserts, and add 50.00php for a bottomless iced tea. The food... There's a wide variety to choose from, Filipino great food! Soup based ulam they have Nilagang Baka, Sinigang na Bangus, Papaitan, Sinigang na Baboy, Tinola, Sinigang na Ulo-Ulo and Nido Soup. Veggie lovers must try Ginisang Ampalaya, Pipino Ensalada, Chopsuey and Pinakbet. They also have mussels and clams! Kare-kare, Binagoongang Baboy, Adobo, Bopis, Pork Chop, Lechon Manok, Fried Mini Shirmp and Crabs. They have bagoong and itlog na maalat for sides. For desserts, they serve Muffins, Brownies, Gelatin, Green Mangoes with Bagoong, Maja de Blanca, Minatamis na Saging and Ginataang Halo Halo.
The food that I really enjoyed here is their Ginataang Halo Halo and Bopis. Other food choices doesn't taste good and even panis like their itlog na maalat. I also recognized their Maja de Blanca, it's kinda frozen, I wondered how long it has been cooked and stored it thier freezer.

Therefore for me Kamay Kainan is not so good place to dine, in terms of food and its ambiance.
