Masatami shave ice is a desert food originally from Hawaii. And now, these sought after cooler is starting be known in the country. I always wanted to try it as I always see these on movies, and I am really happy to find one in SM Mall of Asia. Their colorful, tiny stall is perfect for their exhausted customers that love to be refreshed.

Masatami offers a wide variety of flavors, wherein you can choose on either Hawaiian or Flavored Shave Ice. You can also pick sugar free or liquor syrups and enjoy your shave ice with add-ons. All sizes, flavors, and add-ons are in reasonable price.

Masatami uses latest technology in making different flavored syrups. The majority of their syrup were fruit flavored and though they were just syrup, the taste of authentic fruit is there. You'll really enjoy these flavors as they do not sink onto the bottom of your cup, but soaks evenly on the finely shaved ice.

You'll also enjoy your shave ice, not just because of the taste but also because they were in cute and colorful cups.

Their open stall also satisfies our curiosity as we can see how our Masatami snow cones were made. Sanitation of the store, equipments, and staffs were also great.

Finely shaved ice is what makes Masatami different from other snow cones. Snow cones are mostly made out of crushed ice, whereas shaved ice has a smoother consistency, making your snow cones more ice cream like.
