Rosalie's Suman Pinipig with Buko

Suman is a Filipino native delicacy that is made from glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk and wrapped in banana or palm leaves. It is one of our many kakanin types. Suman is cooked in many unique and exciting ways in every region in the Philippines.

Rosalie's is a one stop pasalubong store in Marilao, Bulacan. They offer a wide range of pasalubong choices from different parts of Bulacan and even from different provinces of the Philippines. They have sweets like pastillas, yema, macapuno and honey; pork rinds from Sta. Maria, Bulacan, Butcheron and even Chicharabao from Tuguegarao City; milk products like yogurt, juice concentrates, and more! However, Rosalie's is famous for their kakanin or rice cakes, and the star of their shop is Rosalie's Suman Pinipig with Buko.

Rosalie's Suman Pinipig with Buko is truly delicious!!! It is made of glutinous rice, buko or coconut strips, pinipig (grains of glutinous rice pounded until flat before being toasted), and latik (coconut curds) wrapped in fresh banana leaves. The sweetness is just right, you'll know that it is freshly-made because of the taste, its maligat or a bit gummy or sticky, it's really good! In one sitting I can eat 2-3 pieces of it! Rosalie's Suman price is ₱60 for a pack of 5, ₱120 for a pack of 10, and ₱240 for a pack of 20. So each Rosalie's Suman Pinipig with Buko costs ₱12, very worthy for its freshness, quality, and taste. This is the best suman I've ever tasted so far in my more than three decades of existence.

Rosalie's is located at 219 Sta. Rosa II, Marilao, Bulacan and their contact numbers are 0922-886-8581, 0939-921-7188, and 0917-558-4276.

Eat good... Feel good!
